HORIZON AWARD WINNER: MARK HAYTHORN
The Horizon Award honors a PHT Division member of five (5) years or fewer who has shown promise of becoming an outstanding member of the profession. This award represents an evaluation of an individual's work and participation in professional and division activities.
Mark Haythorn is a Knowledge Services Specialist with Grifols, a healthcare company focused primarily on plasma-derived therapeutic proteins and on Diagnostic products. He chaired the Program Committee for the 2020 35th Anniversary PHT in-person meeting, which has subsequently changed to a Webinar format due to COVID-19 restrictions.
DISTINGUISHED MEMBER AWARD WINNER: MINDY BEATTIE
The Distinguished Member Award honors a PHT Division member for notable and enduring contributions and service to the Division and the profession. The award represents a cumulative evaluation of an individual's career and emphasizes sustained division leadership and activity of an exemplary nature.
Mindy Beattie, is Sr. Director, Library & Information Services at Gilead Sciences. Her dedication, hard work and leadership has been a valuable asset to PHT. In Mindy's free time, she enjoys travel, cooking, baking and movies.
HALL OF PHAME AWARD WINNERS: JANET COOPER WEISS, KAREN MIRABILE, SUSAN GLECKNER

This award is the highest honor bestowed upon PHT membership, representing their illustrious leadership and exemplary service that has directly influenced the success of PHT.
JANET COOPER WEISS
Janet Cooper Weiss was inducted into the SLA Hall of Fame in 2016. Formerly Associate Director of the Scientific Library at Daiichi Sanyo Pharma Development, she is now enjoying retirement. Recent contributions to PHT over the past few years have been her interactions and relationships with vendors in preparation for the PHT Spring Meetings. Spare time activities involve baking with grandchildren, decluttering closets, and keeping in touch with family and friends.
Karen Mirabile, is a Solution Specialist, Databases at Springer Nature. She has been working in the industry and an active member of PHT for approximately 30 years. She has been a valuable asset to PHT as a leader and with helping organize their Annual Spring Meetings. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to Mexico, shopping and reading.
Sue managed info services at Johnson & Johnson Consumer for 23 years. She has done some consulting, managed discussions around future strategies for PHT, coordinated the (postponed) 35th Annual PHT Spring Meeting and lately the Pharm Talks webinar series, and served as Membership Chair in 2020. She enjoys creative endeavors, is a fan of Rutgers sports, and cycles or walks almost daily. Sue, a member of SLA since 1996, is a past Secretary of the Community, and was honored with the PHT Distinguished Member Award in 2009.
