The individual will perform Freedom to Operate/Patentability searches and analysis in support of R&D, and manufacturing projects. They will work with Patent Prosecution/Litigation attorneys to help file new patent application and support various diligence projects. The individual will spend the predominant amount of their time on tasks such as fact gathering, background research, analysis and presentation; the individual will use public and proprietary chemical and patent databases to conduct searches.
You will get involved in anything from providing information literacy sessions, carrying out research for staff and members, promoting the library at student recruitment events and engaging with our social media followers. We'll look to you to help us deliver library projects and keep our procedures and practices up to date. A key part of what you do will be to suggest innovative approaches to helping our members use our services. As well as exceptional customer service, to join us you'll need an in-depth knowledge of handling enquiries in a library and experience of training library users in how to use resources. Salary information: £31,827
