    Some PHT 35th Anniversary Meeting Updates and Highlights….

    Hotel Room Booking

    Good news! Due to increased demand, the last day to book the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown at the discounted conference rate has been extended to September 22.
         (Note that available rooms have two double beds; rooms with a single king bed are no longer available.)

    So that we can best plan ahead for capacity reasons, now is the time you should register for the meeting.  

    Session Highlights

    A perennial question for info pros researching drugs – which drug pipeline database do I need to subscribe to and how do they differ?  Diane Webb and Matt Eberle from BizInt will address this question in their session on Monday at 11:15 am, "Surfing the Pipeline: What's the Value in Searching More than One Drug Pipeline Database?"  

    After you have decided what database access your organization needs, how do you negotiate access, reuse and service terms, and price? Find out from Michael Gruenberg on Tuesday at 9:45 am in his keynote session, "Vendor Negotiations from Both Side of the Table."
