Blanca Chou is the Senior Director of Global Information and Business Services at Otsuka Pharmaceuticals, a Japan-based global company with over 46,000 employees in 28 countries and regions. She leads three functions: Global Information, Language Services and Administrative Services.The Information team in the U.S. provides global information strategies, customized solutions and services to support business decisions in global clinical development and commercialization. She also manages Otsuka global information resources and implements enterprise information systems to ensure effective information delivery, utilization and management.
Blanca has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years. She won SLA DLDP award (Diversity Leadership Development Program) in 2007. She has been a speaker at the SLA, DC Chapter and DPHT meetings and many other international conferences in Asia. She is a customer advisory board member for three major vendors and a very active leader in a local biopharma information professional network in Washington DC area.
Outside of work, Blanca is a huge fan of Zumba and dancing, and enjoys international travel and movies.
