Specifications for Ads


  • Ads must be submitted as Adobe Acrobat PDF files. If you need to compress the file, please create a self-extracting ZIP file.
  • Ads will be scaled to fit into the following areas (height X width):
    Full page ads: 8.75″ x 6.75″
    Half page ads: 4.25″ x 6.75″
    Quarter page ads: 4.25″ x 3.25″
  • Images and embedded graphics should be 300 dpi.
  • Please watch the size of your files. A PDF version of CapLits is produced for the PHT website. If your ad contains a large amount of small type, please do not convert this type to outlines.

The CapLits newsletter is the official newsletter of SLA’s Pharmaceutical and Health
Technology Division (DPHT). CapLits is published three times per year, in Spring,
Summer, and Fall. It is sent to more than 400 members of DPHT, the majority of whom
are information professionals serving pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations.

2016 Ad Rates

Full Page (8" X 10") $600 per issue
½ Page (8" X 5") $350 per issue
¼ page (3 1/4" X 41/4") $200 per issue
Inside front or back cover $650 per issue; inquire about placement availability
Outside back cover $700 per issue; inquire about placement availability

2016 Submission Schedule

Insertion orders and ads must be received by:
Spring issue deadline is February 1, 2016
Summer issue deadline is April 22, 2016
Fall issue deadline is September 6, 2016
