    On behalf of the Namibia Information Workers Association (NIWA), the SCECSAL XXIV National Organizing Committee is inviting you to participate in the SCECSAL XXIV conference, to be held at Safari Hotel in Windhoek, Namibia from the
    20th – 24th April 2020. The theme of the conference is "Inclusive libraries and information services towards achieving prosperity for sustainable development". The conference will be a platform to discuss new trends and technologies in the library field and the role of information in scientific and economic development in Africa.

    The conference will be divided into substantive parallel sessions as well as poster sessions, exhibitions of different library materials and equipment. The working languages of the conference will mainly be English with some Portuguese translation.     SCECSAL is a regional forum for library and information associations in Africa. Membership to SCECSAL is open to national library and information associations from the following countries: Angola, Botswana, Burundi, Congo Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, eSwatini, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
