  • 1.  SLA website down tomorrow (Tuesday, Oct 15) for upgrades

    Posted 10-14-2019 15:34

We have been working over the past few months to enhance the capabilities of our database, which includes completion of the SLA Board of Directors approved initiatives:

    • Members will be able to auto-renew their membership
    • New option to pay for your SLA membership monthly

As we move to complete this project, the SLA database infrastructure is being upgraded and thus, the database, SLA Connect and part of will be down for the entire day on Tuesday, October 15th. This will affect:

    • The ability to complete transactions:
      • Membership renewals and purchases (Salary Survey)
      • Registration for programs such as online learning, certificate courses, Leadership Symposium, etc.
    • Information on accessed by logging in (for members only)
    • SLA Connect
      • Posting messages in the Open Forum and Communities
      • Accessing the calendar of events
      • Accessing documents and resources
      • Anything that you would normally access on this platform
      • All Microsites for Units

During this time, you will not have the ability to login and access these features. Once the upgrade has completed, we will send a message through SLA Connect to let you know the system is up and running.

Items you will still be able to access include:

    • Main SLA website and resources not located behind the member wall
    • SLA Career Center - this still will not affect the Virtual Career Fair

SLA is excited about the enhancements to our technological infrastructure.

Thank you again for your understanding!
