If you are interested in reading more about Larry and the impact of SLA on his career, this interview that Bryan Young conducted in 2011 with Larry and his late wife Mary Anne is a great read.

Larry and Mary Anne Walton:  Talking about Libraries While Sitting in a Library with Larry and Mary Anne Walton by Bryan S. Young,  June 9, 2011

This is also a good opportunity if you are interested in the history of the chapter or are interested in chairing an advisory board like Career, Archivist, Student relations or Business Manager. For instance it would be great if anyone was interested in participating in writing a follow-up to the great Chapter history 1941-1981 that is on our website. We are hoping several long-time members in addition to Larry will able to attend and share their insights.
