Fondren Library at Rice responded to the pandemic as many other libraries did, but not every academic library has a UX office with the same tasks and challenges as ours. This talk will cover a few of our efforts during the onset of the pandemic, including collaboration with our student advisory groups, standard UX testing, and the UX of library voter outreach.

Could I do that? Learn from experienced information professionals about jobs available in different industries, and how they have developed their successful careers. Join us online for this fast-paced, moderated panel discussion, introducing four information professionals that have a variety of backgrounds, ranging from the world of vendors, law firms, corporations, think tanks, and financials. Speakers will also discuss how their day-to-day has been affected by the pandemic.
