My niche is making sense of chaos. My professional life has two main storylines so far: joining an organization in turmoil to help right the ship, and jumping into a blue ocean to solve the problems of my internal and external customers. I've piloted studies and programs, built intelligence programs, brought a dying professional society back from the brink, identified and fixed operational inefficiencies, and created growth strategies (and found the required influence to enact them).
The first years of my career were spent in non-profit research before pivoting to corporate and legal competitive intelligence. Thanks to that background, I'm well-equipped to learn industries, business models, and operational details quickly. The threads that tie together the positions I've held are problem solving and program management. Give me a problem - or let me find it - and I will come up with a solution, implement it, and assess its success (or failure!). I fail fast, learn and try again; I utilize design thinking to make decisions quickly and iterate towards success. Creating a narrative that inspires people to action is both a passion and talent I have honed throughout the years.
