I may not have all of the answers, but I am not afraid to look for them or pass them on to others.
Whether giving one on one tutoring on the application of stage makeup in my first occupation as a teenage clerk in a costume shop, teaching a room full of early educators about the elements of storytelling or even coordinating a task force of local community helpdesk employees to teach 70+ seniors how to operate their eReaders or iPads and other tablets; I pride myself on my ability to recognize the needs of those I am serving. My goal is to leave people feeling confident about their abilities to use the tools available to them.
Throughout the course of my professional life one recurring service comes up again and again. The primary service I offer is confidence. A little self-efficacy makes literacy of all kinds more attainable for everyone.
